New and speciality dishes

We’ve made some exciting changes when it comes to our food. 

Speciality Fish House

While we are still serving up our classic main menu, we are now also a speciality fish house, with a dedicated menu bringing you the best from the ocean, such as mussels in Nicholson’s pale ale, sea food thermidor and Shetland salmon fillet.

Our main menu has something for everyone, whether you want to stick to old favourites, such as fish and chips or a Nicholson’s burger, or go for one of our new additions.
This season’s creations to warm you from the inside out include beef, amber ale & mushroom pie, and Nicholson's ale-glazed Shropshire chicken.
Or, if you’re craving something lighter, there’s brown rice, quinoa & lemon salad.

A proper meal ends with pudding

Before you step back into that winter chill, make sure you're prepared.
Our dessert menu features comforting dishes such as Belgian chocolate brownie and salted caramel profiteroles.
Or branch out with one of our new dishes – rhubarb, plum & cherries crumble or lemon tart.
After that you'll be ready for whatever the weather throws at you.
