We are currently undergoing a refurbishment at The Falcon and will be closed from 21st April to the 13th May. We re-open on the 14th May 2014 so please come in and see us after this time and let us know what you think of our new look.
Welcome to The Falcon
You will find The Falcon in Clapham Junction London within a short stroll of Clapham Junction, Falcon Road and Lavender Hill - however you won't find another like it.
Step in to discover a traditional pub of unique character, revered for its eclectic range of real ales and its quality pub food, which are served, as they should be, with a generous measure of famous British hospitality.
A fascinating past
According to the Guinness Book of Records, our bar counter is the longest in the UK, and is overlooked by a stunning stained glass window depicting a falcon. MC Escher, the artist involved in the bar's design, is best known for his strange graphic works depicting surreal, impossible perspectives. The Falcon is part of the crest of the St John family, which is where our pub derives its name.
One of a kind
The Falcon is one of many rare gems in the Nicholson's collection of great British pubs, reputed for their distinctive buildings, intriguing history and vibrant atmosphere.
Famous for having a bar that made it into the Guinness Book of Records
