Get ready to discover the secrets of gin in this summer's #GinFest2017
It’s time for our annual summer Gin Festival where here at Nicholson's we celebrate all things Gin!
This year's Gin Festival is set to be the biggest one yet with 38 premium gin brands, our own bespoke Barrel Aged Tanqueray Festival Gin, a selection of exclusive gin masterclasses as well as gin themed gigs, gin tours and our infamous secret gin parties and exciting social media competitions and giveaways.
This year’s gin festival will be taking place from 24th July through the summer, giving you enough time to join in with all of our exciting gin themed antics! We can't wait to get going and share our best kept gin secrets with you all.
Nicholson's history is a gin-rich one that dates back to founder William Nicholson who started the first Nicholson's pub as a gin distillery in London and we're still serving the best gins around in many of our original gin palaces today! For this year's festival, we've teamed up with the iconic Tanqueray gin brand to create our very own barrel aged gin specifically for this festival. There are only two barrels available and once it's gone, it's gone so don't hang around!
This year we have some brand new additions to the festival range including Navy-Strength gins, Old Tom Gins and a host of flavour-led gins, perfect for creating summer gin and tonics! Throughout the festival we’ll also be giving away lots of gin prizes, distillery tours and goodies through the Nicholson’s App in our Spin to Win Gin game. Ready yourself for the gin festival beginning and download it today!
We're bringing back the Secret Gin Parties! As a nod to the underground history of gin, we've set up Secret Gin Parties across the country for you to come along to and be a part of our exclusive Gin Festival events! Watch out for Old Tom the black cat at your local for clues on where the event will take place...
We've tried something brand new for this year's Gin Festival and have paired up with Tanqueray Gin to create our very own, slightly different gin that has been aged in barrels up in Scotland. Read more about how and why we did this and what it means for your gin glass!
This year's Gin Festival has been heavily influenced by the awesome history of Old Tom the black cat and the part he played in keeping the gin industry up and running even when it was forced underground. Read more about what he did right here!
Want to see all the gins making up our Gin Festival this year? We've created a library all to exhibit the fantastic and exciting gins we have on offer for #GinFest2017.
