Nicholson’s Pubs are known for their individual style, exciting stories, and charming personalities - and The White Horse is certainly no exception.
Our wonderful building dates back to the early 1700s, when the area was being developed. The White Horse was then rebuilt in the 1930s with a stunning art deco exterior. Today, you can still see two original stained glass pub signs in the ironwork of our balcony, depicting a prancing white horse.
Our breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus offer everything you’d expect to find on a modern, British pub menu, and so much more. From a range of delicious sharers, through to classic main dishes and succulent burgers, there’s something to suit every appetite.
The White Horse is one of many rare gems in the Nicholson's collection of great British pubs, reputed for their distinctive buildings, intriguing history and vibrant atmosphere.
