See London from a new perspective with our magical pub tour, and learn more about the astounding heritage that surrounds and encompasses our amazing Nicholson’s pubs — you’ll even have the chance to stop in for a tipple or two if you like!
Experienced guide Vic Norman of London Pub Tours will take you on a journey through time as he narrates the history behind the Great Fire, Art Nouveau, Sir Christopher Wren, and the Poet Laureate who saved one of our treasured pubs.
You’ll visit ,Williamson’s Tavern, The Blackfriar and Ye Olde Watling, before enjoying a two-course dinner at The Walrus & Carpenter.
Our specially selected set menu at The Walrus & Carpenter boasts an array of delicious dishes, including the Potted Pulled Ham Hock starter, served with golden beetroot piccalilli & toasted sourdough. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by our range of main courses, such as the rich puy Lentil Cottage Pie, topped with sweet potato & carrot mash, accompanied by seasonal greens & glazed chantenay carrots. Bring a close to your experience with the delightfully sweet Belgian Chocolate Brownie, it’s warm, rich & luxurious!
The total cost for the evening, including the historical walking tour and dinner at our speciality sausage & chop house The Walrus & Carpenter is £30pp; any drinks you buy will be at your own cost. The tour will last for approximately two hours, and is suitable for adults only.
